Jeanie had an electrical problem at her Pittsburgh home of nearly 50 years.
It seemed like, every four to six months, something went wrong – an electrical outlet stopped working, a switch malfunctioned or a light flickered. Not only was it inconvenient, but each time her electrician visited it was a few hundred dollars and over the years, it added up.
Or it would have – if she didn’t have a home repair plan from HomeServe. She’s saved more than $1,000 with her plan once she purchased it and saved a lot of stress and inconvenience. Jeanie didn’t have to find an electrician or manage the repair – HomeServe did it for her.
That’s how she became familiar with Overly’s Electrical Services and quickly became a fan.
“They’re great,” Jeanie said. “(Overly’s) is quick to respond, quick to resolve the situation. Kevin – that guy really knows what he’s doing. He’s good and his response is excellent. He’s a valuable employee. He explained everything he was doing and left everything the same way he found it.”
Not only was Jeanie pleased with Overly’s performance, but she was pleased with HomeServe’s service.
“I think it’s a great idea,” she said. “In fact, it’s crazy not to have (coverage). Nothing’s an issue – until it goes wrong.Everything’s unexpected, and you have to figure out a way to save money.”
Jeanie described the service as “terrific” and herself as “very satisfied” whenever she needed to make those all-too-frequent calls into HomeServe’s Chattanooga, Tennessee-based operations center.
“I can’t think of anything that you could do better,” she said.
With Overly’s help, Jeanie finally figured out what her electrical problem was – there was an issue with the exterior connection between her home and the utility system. And despite the underlying issue being resolved – she said she’s continuing her HomeServe subscription.
“I think it’s a great idea. In fact, it’s crazy not to have (coverage). Nothing’s an issue – until it goes wrong. Everything’s unexpected, and you have to figure out a way to save money.”
“I advise other people to get it,” she said. “I’ve referred several people.”
